It began in 2023 on a romantic road trip around The Isles of Sicily where we discovered a joint love for ice cream. For those that don’t know, Italy is the birthplace of gelato and one night, after a few too many cocktails, we found ourselves in a deep food fantasy. In that moment, we became inspired to create traditional dairy ice cream infused with our favorite spirits and liqueurs.
Turns out it’s no easy task! Alcohol and ice cream are not chemical friends. However, with Dr. Elliot’s scientific mind and Gem’s culinary creativity, unique recipes were born.
